We collect account information you provide, such as name and email. We also store prompts, responses, and story history so you can continue your conversations. For image features, we may store prompts, generation details, reference-image indicators, and image records. Basic technical logs may be collected for reliability, abuse prevention, and security.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the Service, authenticate users, process payments, provide chat and story features, and improve quality, reliability, and safety. We may also review account activity, reports, public-facing content, and technical signals to keep the service aligned with our Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, and provider requirements.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run Chat18GPT, including Supabase (authentication/storage), OpenRouter and OpenAI (AI generation), and our current payment and infrastructure providers.

4. Reference Images

If you upload a reference image, that file may be processed as part of your generation request and may be sent to our AI providers to interpret style, composition, outfit direction, lighting, or scene guidance. We do not currently save the upload as a separate public gallery asset.

Generated outputs and related generation metadata may remain in your account history unless you delete them or request account removal. Reference-image requests may also be reviewed when needed for safety checks, rights complaints, fraud investigation, misuse reports, or provider-enforcement questions.

We may keep limited logging around reference-image requests to investigate suspected face-manipulation misuse, rights complaints, deceptive-media reports, or payment disputes.

5. Retention and Security

We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We apply reasonable safeguards such as access controls and encryption in transit, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Rights, Safety, and Review

Users remain responsible for the source images they upload, including any rights, licenses, or permissions connected to those images. If a request appears to violate our rules, provider terms, or someone else's rights, we may review or remove related content and limit account access.
